U-Blog 3

Children learn the easiest no matter what the method be. A child will retain more knowledge than an adult through a non-prefered method than an adult. Adults do have a better chance at knowing their prefered method due to them having more time to figure it out. Looking at these two age groups, i feel it causes challenges to adult teachers due to having to figure out how to best teach all the students. While children can be taught in a variety of manners and have a better chance of the students retaining the knowledge.

  1. I agree with your statement that children learn faster than adults. One thing that I see with kids vs. adults is kids start off with a "blank canvas" and as they learn they start to paint their own picture(I.E. LEARNING). This blank canvas allows kids to learn faster and retain information. What makes it harder for adults is that their canvas is already painted and they have to de-clutter their canvas to paint a new picture so that they can learn more effectively.
